Joinless Weaving

An example

My method uses loops as the weft, one originating from a ball of yarn stationed to the left of warp, the other originating from a ball of yarn stationed to the right of the warp secured at the selvages by interlacing with one another. The example described below creates a tabby weave scarf on a four-shaft loom with a 10 sett epi. The yarn is passed from side-to-side by hand because the warp is narrow but an tool can be used for traversing a wider warp.
